SpeedTrap.fund is an independent driver-awareness project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any municipality, police department, sheriff's office, state agency or federal agency. Nothing here is legal advice.
Drive lawfully
Our message is to slow down and obey posted speed limits. Do not use this site as an aid to speeding or to evading lawful enforcement, and never interact with this site while driving.
Accuracy
We label information by the strength of its evidence and cite our sources. Community reports are unverified by definition. If you believe something is wrong, contact us and we'll review, correct or remove it.
Your submissions
By submitting a nomination or story you confirm the information is truthful to the best of your knowledge, that you have the right to share any files you upload, and that we may review, edit for length and clarity, publish or decline to publish it.
Contributions
Contributions fund billboard campaigns and platform costs. They are not charitable donations and are not tax deductible. Campaign costs, timing and billboard availability can change; if a campaign cannot proceed we will apply funds to a comparable campaign and note it publicly.
